TOWARDS THE CATHEDRAL DES ROCHES

In the morning we went down to the village to change money to pay for the night to the marvelous family that treated us so well. We said goodbye, and set on today’s adventure. Our destiny was Gite la Cathédrale. It is a small refuge near a big rock called Cathedral. The trail was very pleasant along the river, passing through several villages. Later in the afternoon we crossed a metal bridge, and the trail started to ascent. The refuge of the Cathédrale was several kilometers down along the river. The problem was that the river became a gorge, and it was impossible to pass through so we had to make a detour through mountain pass Tizi’n Tizoult. After a long descent we arrived to our overnight spot. I think it was the worst refuge we visited, but the treatment was good. We slept with bugs..
